Success Stories

A daily wage laborer in Delhi NCR was suffering from dry gangrene. His toes and finger tips were badly damaged. Immediate surgical operation to amputee the dead parts was an urgent and life saving requirement. Since he was a daily earner and was not earning for quite sometime, he needed help for medical/surgical treatment as well as for maintaining his family. JS Trust funded the surgical operation and also financed the post operation treatment. He was also helped in the purchase of rations for his family and admission fee/school uniform for his son.

A female student in Uttar Pradesh approached JS Trust for assistance with continuing her education after her father died unexpectedly. Her mother was a single parent and could not afford to pay for school fees or book. JS Trust covered these expenses, as well as tutoring to help the young lady bridge gaps in her education.

J.S. Trust was approached by a student of Delhi College of Engineering for financial help. He was physically challenged boy and traveling from his residence to his college was causing great physical as well as financial difficulties. To assist him with living closer to his college, J.S. Trust partly financed his hostel fee.

A father of 3 children in Delhi NCR, who was the sole breadwinner of the family, incurred a financial crisis due to his heart surgery and could not afford paying school fees for his children for the last three months. The situation worsened when he got his leg fractured in an accident. He was out of employment for quite some time. J.S. Trust cleared the school dues of the children, which enabled them to take their upcoming exams.

A maid in her early 40s in Uttar Pradesh had been struggling to work and take care of her family due to a chronic condition, Spondilytis. She approached the Dispensary and underwent multiple examinations and consultations with experienced doctors. Finally, she was able to manage her back pain. She is now able to work and enjoy her family life.

When a street hawker in Bengaluru needed assistance getting his children into an English medium school, which he could not currently afford, he asked J.S. Trust to help with fees and uniforms for his two primary school age children. J.S. Trust assisted this family for +2 years, until the father got placed in a job and was able to take care of the fees himself.
