Urban Poor Welfare

When Basic Survival Needs Go Unmet, We Step In

For homeless families, migrant workers, and daily wage earners, even the most basic form of healthcare or support can feel out of reach. That’s why J.S.Trust runs the Urban Poor Welfare project – designed to respond quickly, compassionately, and practically to their most urgent needs.

What We’ve Done So Far

  • Chikungunya Vaccination Camps in vulnerable communities

  • Red Cross Blood Donation Drives to support public health systems

  • Winter Blanket Distribution to protect homeless individuals and families from Delhi’s cold nights

  • Mosquito Net Drives during summer months to prevent vector-borne disease

  • Food and Ration Distribution for mothers and children in transit camps

  • Medical Cost Support for road accident victims and injured daily wage workers

This is relief work rooted in dignity – not handouts, but lifelines.

We often work with local hospital partners and individual donors to act fast when a family is in crisis.

You Can Be Part of This

We’re looking for:

  • In-kind donations (blankets, mosquito nets, ration kits)

  • Volunteer teams for distribution events

  • Emergency fund donors to support urgent treatments or family-level aid

When the city forgets them, we won’t.
